India v New Zealand 2nd Test Drawn

2nd test between India and New Zealand has been drawn. The 3 test series is still going on with 0-0. 1st test at Ahmedabad and 2nd test at Hyderabad, both are drawn.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first. In the first innings McCullum got out early but McInTosh (102) and Guptill (85) played really well and gave steady opening to the team. Ryder also played well and scored 70 runs. Other players were not up to the mark and team were all out for 350 runs. Zaheer khan and Harbhajan Singh took 4 wickets each.

India started really well in the 1st innings. Gambhir (54) and Sehwag (96) gave superb opening to India. Sehwag once again was out just before 4 runs to his hundred and could not complete it. Laxman at the middle order played well and scored valuable 74 runs. The hero of the innings was Harbhajan Singh who scored century and remain not out on 111. Vettori bowled amazing and took 5 wickets. India got lead of 122 runs and was in good condition.

New Zealand started firmly in second innings. The hero of the innings was McCullum who scored 225, his maiden double ton. Later he was declared man of the match as well. New Zealand gave 327 runs target to India and it was too late. India scored 68 runs with nice half century from Sehwag (54) before the match was declared draw.
