The scond-class line-up of West Indies cricket team caused the main reason that Bangladesh beat the side by 95 runs on the final day of first test in Kingstown.

The West Indian side were missing all their standard players due to contract issue with West Indies cricket board. This played a major role to their defeat in just chasing 276 runs. However David Burnard knocked unbeaten 52, the best from West Indian side, with which West Indies reached to total of 181.

Both Bangladesh spinners played a major role by their excellent bowling performance. Mohammad Mahmudullah took 5/41 and Shakib Al Hasan took 3/39. But the man of the match was Tamim Iqbal who played an amazing knock of 128 runs which lead Bangladesh to the total of 345 and also became the piller for the side’s firest ever oversears test win.

In Reply West Indies team did not able to fight back from the beggining only. Except David Bernard no body was able to show the potential and did not score above 20 runs each. West Indies lost their first two wickets in just 19 runs in consicutive overs. After that no middle order player were able to set the innings and the side has lost 6 wickets in 40 overs. Same way tail batsmen also did not played well and whole team all out for just 181 runs in 70.1 overs.

Bangladesh has anjoyed the first ever victory on foriegn soil and are fully boosted up for the second test which starts from this friday at St. George’s. Check out final scores of both the teams.
