Jayasuriya, Dilshan made Sri Lanka win against West Indies
The oldest player among 12 teams in the tournament, Sanath Jayasuriya, along with Tillakaratne Dilshan knock a troumendous shots and made 124 runs opening wicket partnership, which became the pillar of the Sri Lankan innings and made them to win over West Indies.
Left Handed Sanath Jayasuriya smashed 81 runs from just 47 balls which includes 10 boundries and 3 sixes. Tillakaratne Dilshan made 74 runs from just 47 balls gave opening stand to Srilankan team to make the total of 192/5 in 20 overs. Simmons from the West Indian team took 4 wickets for just 19 runs.
In reply West Indian team was playing without one of the dangerous bats man in the tournament, Chris Gayle, who missed the match because of knee injury. Bravo hit 51 runs from 38 balls and Sarwan made 28 runs made partnership of 77 runs off 59 balls. West Indies fought back very well but lost the game by just 15 runs.
Though the both teams are in super eight, there was no much important of winning and loosing but on an average the match was so much interesting and fans enjoyed the cracking batting of Sanath Jayasuriya.
